This is what we do

St John's is Nenthead's parish church, and celebrates its 175th anniversary this year.

The churchyard is a beautifully peaceful place, with some fascinating headstones, including Alston Moor's only official War Grave.

In the churchyard - be sensible!

In church, we are following all the recommended guidelines. Hand gel is provided, seats are 2 metres apart and we ask you to leave contact details for track and trace purposes.

What we expect from you.

In the churchyard, be considerate of other visitors and keep your distance. In church, observe the notices, use the designated pews and keep your distance from others.
