Licence and reuse.
This site exists to make information about the campaigns easier to find, share and work with. The licence is set up to let supporters, press and researchers use the material freely, with attribution.
Site-authored content
Original written content on this site — the campaign pages, news posts, briefings drafted by the Parish Council, and the structured data published through the open-data endpoints — is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC-BY 4.0).
You may copy, adapt, redistribute and build on this material, including for commercial purposes, provided you give appropriate credit. A line such as “Source: alstonmoorhealth.org, © 2026 Alston Moor Parish Council, CC-BY 4.0” is sufficient. A link back to the page or item you used is welcomed but not required.
Hosted documents
The documents made available from this site — council reports, NHS publications, press releases, regulatory inspection reports, historical correspondence, and archival material — are not covered by the CC-BY licence above. Each retains the copyright of its original author or publisher. The site hosts them as a public-interest archive of material relevant to the campaigns. If you wish to reuse any of those documents beyond fair quotation, please consult the original publisher.
Third-party material on this site
Where this site quotes or paraphrases material from third parties — for example, the Council's Annual Plan, NHS commissioning documents, or newspaper coverage — that material remains the property of its original publisher and is used here under fair-dealing principles for the purposes of news reporting, criticism and review. Attribution is given where the material is referenced.
Open data
The structured data made available at /api/news.json, /api/timeline.json, /api/documents.json, /api/foi.json, /api/foi.csv and /events.ics is published under CC-BY 4.0 and may be reused freely with attribution. Each response includes a licence field pointing back here. There are no rate limits at present; if you intend to fetch the feeds at high volume, a polite User-Agent identifying yourself is appreciated.
