The twelve-week public consultation announced by Westmorland and Furness Council on 21 April is expected to open today. Alston Moor Parish Council has formally adopted its position and the Grisedale Croft Working Group is now preparing the response, alongside a programme of evidence-gathering, public meetings, and correspondence with NHS partners.
The Parish Council's letter to the Cabinet Member for Adult Care, asking for the consultation to be paused pending a joint review with NHS partners, has been on the record since 23 April. Further updates will follow as the consultation progresses.
